“The beauty and serenity of the backcountry have drawn me to a lifetime of walks along mountain trails, forest paths and coastal dunes. These frequent journeys are the primary inspiration for my work; places that exude a spirit of quiet splendor where one can pause in momentary solitude and what an enchanting view unfold. It is the universal qualities of peaceful country places that delight me and I hope are apparent in my paintings.”
